It is now 24 dead, and 62 injured .
Interior Minister Habib el-Adly said those killed included 20 Egyptians and three foreigners. Sixty-two people were wounded.
Hospital officials in Sinai said Tuesday that an Egyptian man had died of his wounds, bringing the death toll to 24.

The sad thing is, we were warned :

You then read in Al Arabiy a that the egyptian secuirty forces has shut down the border with Israel in order to prevent any "possible suspects escape", which would only mean in the eyes of the regular egyptian that the people who were behind this act were…yes…wait for it… THE JOOOOOOOOOZZZZZZZ.

The evil Jooz however were better than us, and actually sent in emergency repsonse vehicles and ambulances immedietly after the attacks to help the injured. So, we they want to come in to help us, and we prevent their people from leaving. Now that's the kind of forwrad thinking that makes us such a strong and invunerable nation.

The israelis , on their part, blamed what happend on a group they called the "Libyan group", which is an affiliate of Al Qaeda and supposidly committed many attacks in central and eastern Africa. I have never heard of them. But honestly, after this explosion, which is the third ceosnecutive attack on the third sinai resort in 3 consecutive years, I trust the Judgment of the Israelis more than that of the egyptian intelligence agency. I am really mad because this brings back memories of Taba, and it shows that we haven't elarned shit from the previous attacks at all. It also shows that the security forces can not protect us at all, with or wiothout the emergency laws. And now, I found out that a friend of mine got injured in this attack, and lost an arm. He is 23 years old. and he lost his arm. And all I can think of is the blind hatred that is cursing through my body right now towards every single Jihady fuckhead in existance, and how I will not rest until every single one of them is fuckin whiped out, have their bodies doused in whiskey and pig piss and wraped in the cumsoaked sheets of a diseased jewish whore.

I can’t help but sympathize with the victims of these attacks. But for some reason when people ignorant of Judeo-Christian oppresion on Muslim lands post like JordanR, post I tend to lose all sympathy. Why is it a stupid incident like this gets all the media attention in the world, but when Isreal begins to fire missles on refuge camps, no one care. today after reading about them yesterday. It seems lthese days in the Middle East, there’s a bombing by some Islamist somewhere, every day, whether it’s Iraq, Israel, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc. etc. and we’ve become blase towards their occurrance. It’s sad, that things have progressed this way. .
And did you see that Iran wants to hyper-proliferate their nuclear technology to radical groups and Islamists - can you imagine the Jihadis with nukes?
Never mind the danger to L’ Etats Unis, but wouldn’t it be groovy for some
fanatics to nuke the Valley of the Kings or the Sphinx; attack Israel
and have them respond with a massive retaliation.

This is about the Egyptians, and the fact that 24 people died in Egypt at the hands of terrorist pigs. 21 of them were Egyptians, who were either vacationing or working in their own country, and were killed simply for enjoying life and working hard. The foreigners who were killed were visitors and guests of Egypt who love Egypt and many of whom were repeat visitors. This shit makes me sick, and I wish the international community would devote more coverage and analysis to this attack. It kind of offends me that when 65 Egyptians died in Sharm, the coverage was one-tenth of that of the attacks in London, despite a similar casualty level.
Also, to “AngryLibyan” you need to shut the fuck up. How can you say it’s logical for it to be Coptic Christians? Have you ever heard of a Copt walking into a mosque and stabbing Muslims? I have a bad feeling this war will take all of us down a path we cannot imagine because of the brutality and and suffering that are in store for us. It’s not a certainty, just a worrisome image nibbling away at the edges of my imagination and fear.

The Tannaïtic Midrash Sifre to Numbers in §157 comments on the above quoted commandment of Moses to kill the Midianite women as well as the male children:
“Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known a man by sleeping with him.(Num 31:17).
[This] refers to her who has slept with a man as well as her who is suitable for intercourse, even when she has not slept with a man…
But all the young girls who have not known a man by sleeping with him, keep alive for yourselves. From here R. Shimon b. Yohai used to say: a Proselyte girl who became a proselyte in the age of less than three years and one day, is rendered fit to marry into the priesthood.” [137]
According to the Tannaïte Rabbis, Moses therefore had ordered the Israelites to kill all women older than three years and a day, because they were “suitable for having sexual relations.” [138]

In the Torah (In the Book of Numbers in the Bible), after the conquest of Midian and Moab, and the great venereal plague, Moses (peace be on him) ordered that all the women “who have known a man” be killed but that “all the young girls, who have not known a man by lying with him” be kept alive for the Israelites.
Since the only females left fit for marriage and wholesome relations were prepubescent virgins, a Jewish law concerning child marriage was enacted. That law is found in the Babylonian Talmud:

I keep hoping there will be enough time for people to think before the onrushing crash occurs, because I don’t want this. But I still see only three possibilities, and none of them look likely:
a) that moderate — and Qur’an believing — Muslims are able to take over the religion from the violent ones. But I think there aren’t enough of them, and that the appeal of the ‘call for jihad’ and its simplicity (”They’re all against us, but Allah will bring us victory the way he’s supposed to”) will be stronger than the appeal to acting reasonably and living in tolerance, which the majority of imams can declare as heresy, blasphemy and apostasy.
b) that the sort of ‘reformed Islam’ that BP calls for can be constructed, which ‘desanctifies the Qur’an’ at least to the realization that it is a book written by a human, not by Allah, and which builds on the ‘good ideas’ in Islam to create a religion suitable for today. But this again creates conflict, and, what horrifies me is that there simply isn’t enough in a ‘de-bunked’ Qur’an to build on. That is what I have been begging Muslims to show me. So far, the good and noble parts of Islam are things that don’t require religious sanction to see, like giving to charity and respecting parents. The things that are exclusive to Islam are the violence, the superstition, and — despite the myth of Islamic toleration — the intolerance towards women and unbelievers.
c) a “Velvet Revolution” where there is a wholesale walking away from Islam, to where the imams have no one to talk to, and when people realize — as so much of Europe has — that you don’t need the fear of hell to be a good person (because, as far as I can see, so many of the truly good people who are Muslims, as, for example, the many bloggers, are forcing Islam into a shape to support their own goodness rather than seeing their own ethics as coming from their humanity, not their religion — very badly put, but you get it).
But something HAS to happen. So far, because the basis of ‘the West’ is liberalism, it has been, rightly, a very tolerant society, perhaps too tolerant — and that tolerance and liberalism gets it condemned by people like you, Tommy, and you, SM. And, depite the myths in many Islamic communities, the West has never attacked Islamic countries because they were islamic, has never cracked down on Muslims because they were Muslims.
But that patience is not infinite, and the truly calming voice of liberalism — even a liberalism that remembers its basics like the signers of the Euston Manifesto — has been so attacked by the people you support, SM, that when that voice is needed, it may not be heard. And that’s when it gets scary, because if the cork comes out of the bottle, people are NOT going to see the differences between ‘moderate muslims’ and ‘jihadys’ without that liberalism being heard.
I said in an e-mail to you, SM, that if things get bad, and you are surrounded by a mob, you’ll find it is the people attacking you who read the people you support, and the people who throw themselves between you and the mob who are the liberals.
I’m sorry for the length and incoherence, but the events of the last few days makes me hear the clock ticking faster and faster.

The 23-year-old convinced the girl to kill her parents and her brother.
Overall, though, nobody hacks your head off if you don’t blindly follow the religion of your parents.
Good luck in your search. Raging against what’s wrong only goes so far.
Finding a positive solution that gives you inner peace is the way to go.
