SM, you are one brave mutha f****!

  2. Chip Says:

This is total BS. My wife has political connections at the state and federal level. Maybe I can get the information about Alaa’s plight to some important people. I’ll see if she can make some calls later today.

  3. Roba Says:

    haha

  4. howard_coward Says:

    be careful, man

Hang in there ,Sam. We know that the Egyptian Government is about to do the right thing , realize it over reacted and then release Alaa and the bloggers. After all, the Egyptian Government would not truly enjoy giving itself an inadvertent black eye, would it?

We also know that the people checking out your blog are merely getting the pulse of the discussion. They would not truly wish to engage in potentially self defeating censorship, would they?

  6. Crazy White Boy Says:

We’re all behind you, dude! Watch your back!

    SM,

I gotta hand it to you man, you got balls. I’d be very concerned about you but something tells me you’re 3 or 4 steps ahead of Mubarak’s finest.

Plus, you and Alaa and the others have the will of freedom on your side.

  8. Peter-Australia Says:

Your a tough bugger SM; as a famous AFL footballer used to say before a game, “Stick it right up em!” I only wish if I was faced with the same situation as you that I could be half as tough.

I’ll toast to that.. twice! G-d bless you, Sandy! And G-d keep you safe, dammit!

I will second the bloggy-toughness and raise you millions of people who understand exactly what ISDC is doing. We all respect ISDC and look forward to seeing Alaa out of prison. That is the fairness that the whole world can count on from President Mubarek. If they can release him they will have informal allies throughout the world. It is unfortunate that the leader of Egypt has to deal with so many problems, but Alaa isn’t one and his release will send a shockwave through the west proving the Presidents commitment to freedom.

Mike, It is true that they are bunch of idiots, but they are not kids
    :)

  12. Steven Says:

Keep up the struggle for freedom. Hopefully some of these ISDC people will be supportive after reading the blog.

W.N., did you enjoy the comment? I have been reading press releases from N. Korea and Hamas.
