That was sad….depressing…..but then again….you have to stop and think, what kind of situation and environment have the Israeli’s created for the Palestinian people to be able to convince their children that death is better than life? The concept of martyrdom is glorified everywhere, however, these children are also forced to believe this because every day they see children their age die….how can anyone justify that to a child other than by telling them that heaven is better than earth…..add to that the incorrect teachings of Islamic jihad movements, and we can only be thankful that these kids are still alive…..

Pfft. Learn some history - the “Palestinian” people have been abused and used by every Arab nation since Israel was created. They are paraiahs, unable to get citizenship in any gulf state or neighboring state.
Why?
Because they’re a fucking political football for the ‘ummah’. We can’t possibly implement political reforms while the ‘ummah’ is oppressed. We can’t make life better for you until the Palestinians are the winners. It’s the Jooooooos fault.
And so, relying on the scraps the world throws at them (Note that the palestinian government is not funded one red cent by the gulf states - Zakat seems to be meaningless in modern Islam) the Palestinian people live in squalor - signing up to the Islamic death cult in droves because that’s exactly, -exactly-, what they are supposed to do. JIHAD JIHAD JIHAD - the Islamic excuse for killing anyone and not feeling guilty. Sounds like Charles Manson.

The israelis did not make the deprivation that Palestinians live in. They made it themselves. The UN and other countries have given much aid to the Palestinians in order to improve their lives. Where has all that money gone? The so-called Palestinians leaders have a a long history of pocketing money for their own gains. Look at Arafat and the hundreds of millions he stole.
The sad fact is, by making Israel the eternal bogeyman and not seeking a peaceful relationship, the Palestinians have created a culture of death that is shocking to most. To blame it on the Israelis is absurd.
If you wish to place blame, look at the Arab countries such as Egypt, Syria, Jordan and the others who told the Palestinians to leave in 1948 and who still refuse to allow the Palestinian refugees to leave the camps even after 68 years. Blame the cynical expolitation of Arab governments who inflame their masses with untruths about Israel in order to cover-up their own corruption and human rights abuses.
The Palestinians have been given many things, such as the greenhouses in Gaza after Israel disengaged there. What has happened to those greenhouses since then? Most have been ransacked and are no longer usable.
It’s ironic that the Palestinians are now shouting because the EU and the US has decided not to support a terrorist government, Hamas, that they are saying their people are being starved.
And yet they have plenty of money to create new “armies”, to buy more weapons. to buy rockets that slam into Israel on a daily basis, to make propaganda signs, etc, etc. Why not use that money on building infrastructure and improving the lives of the Palestinians?
The truth is that the Palestinians have long been used by Arab governments. It’s just that now the Palestinian Authority is the one that is doing the most exploitation now. The end result is this heartwrenching video of little girls who have been brainwashed into thinking suicide is noble.
When my son was 12, his biggest joy was making up songs and recording them. It’s a sad, sad, day when children only have death to look forward to.
The basic truth is that when you love your children, you want a future for them. Even in the most trying of times, parents have a universal instinct to protect their children and give them hope. The parents of these children are teaching them death as is the Palestinian Authority.

There are many peoples on this world who never participated in an attack on a neighbouring country and who are still occupied by their neighbour, treated a lot worse, and who don’t want another people eradicated and who don’t condition their children to kill.

The Qur’an specifically forbids attacking the women and children of your enemy and it also forbids committing suicide. If there is any truth in the Qur’an, these children will go to hell. THAT is what their parents taught them.

Any time people give up on the real world and start yearning for the afterlife — death and suffering are not far behind. No matter what religion, what country, what time — when the afterlife is treasured above all else and all real world problems scoffed at — people are going to get set on fire before it’s all said and done.
That’s what I like about the ancient Greeks (pre-500 BCE, before the concept of “Tartarus and Elyssium”). Everybody was going to Hades. Good, bad or indifferent, they were all headed to the same place. Which means, all the enemies you make in this life are going to be waiting for you in the next. What amazes me is that the girls were talking about Shahada so calmly. I mean when they talked it’s like they meant every single word with all their hearts and they meant it in a non violent beautifull way. I’m speechless. They’re turning the concept of Shahada into a very dirty one. The world has moved on and progressed. People need to become global citizens rather than just citizens of their own land. The Israeli government has enforced its abuse on innocent Palestinians many times but this is no bloody excuse to teach children such sicking ways of thinking.

What I think of the comments section is the people haven’t taken the time to extrapolate the probable outcome of teaching hate to a percentage of the world’s children.
Then to factor in the demographics of the reproductive rates based on both religion and geographic region. (Say if the edict to have 5 children for each Muslim couple is true.)
Had anyone sat and pondered that, someone would have put forth a question about what the rest of the world is teaching their children. Will that other percentage be ready to defend themselves when these children have ripened?
Or will they be happy-go-lucky lambs at the slaughter block because they weren’t taught that not everybody wants to play nice and be your friend.
So, that’s what I think of the comments. I’ve seen too many children’s programs that teach hate from both Palestine and Iran to be shocked yet again.

Israel does NOT “kill Palestinian children”. Arab children die when terrorists hide behind them. But Israel has no interest in specifically killing these children.
And, if we believe the video, no need either.
Israel, however evil it might be, has no interest in killing Arab children. It’s bad PR if it happens, and Arab Palestinians produce more children than Israel is killing (if Israel actively tried to kill these children, do you think the Arab population would grow?).
You might want to check your history books about the fate of Arab Palestinians. I believe you will find that Jordan killed many more Arab Palestinians than Israel ever attempted to.

I can deny it. (Trans)Jordan occupies the greater half of the original mandate. And Jordan and Egypt used to occupy the Arab part of what was left after the founding of Jordan.

And Israel is not interested in suicide.

Incorrect. The Iraq “resistance” is killing Palestinians, including Palestinian children. They have forced the Palestinians from Iraq to escape to Jordan and Siria. They haven’t been allowed to enter Jordan, and only small quantities were allowed into Syria. They live in the border. In the desert.

Nothing new, Sam…. unfortunately. It’s silly and sad but after you KNOW it exists you sorta get accustomed to it. Not because you want to. But, because there’s absolutely NOTHING one can do about it
But still: I don’t have any “proof” but - I keep on believing that this phenomenon is just a very small part of Palestinian society and most parents are like any other parents on this globe, protectors of those precious innocent and influencable little lives they are responsible for putting on this earth.
I still believe the ones responsible for children to get to think like this are the terrororganizations and, yes… the government of the PA (having seen Arafat himself telling pre-school children shahada is the most beautiful thing one can do) and as proves this tv-clip.
I’ve seen a website once that calls upon the UN to act and call this kind of education warcrimes. But everybody knows what the UN stands for….. their jobs depend on conflicts like this and the measure their pockets are filled….

Whether we like it or not, I see it playing out this way,
1. Islamic culture seems to refuse to address the internal problems it has
2. Islamic culture does not like the west having to deal with the problems Islamism creates
3. Islamist culture wants to on one hand be on the attack and anytime it gets popped they cry like babies and play on leftist media
I see it playing out like this
1. Islamist terrorists will continue to kill their own
2. leftists actions will allow Islamist to carry out another attack

Wait wait wait! This isn’t an “environmental” issue, so deciding who created the environment is a waste of time. This is an indoctrination issue. Those children are brainwashed. It would take years to de-program them, assuming anybody even bothered to try. Death cults are not new. The word “Assassin” comes from the Ishmaili sect of Islam during the crusades. They didn’t have bombs back then, but they were a death cult, who were promised paradise if they died following the instructions of their leader - the so called “Man on the Mountain.”
That wasn’t the fault of the Jews. Neither is this. And there are many places in the world today where children suffer a LOT more than Palestinian kids suffer. There is no environmental factor, here. If the ‘Palestinians’ had integrated with the Jews of Israel in 1948 and remained peaceful through the various wars of aggression directed at Israel from the other Arabs …. today they would be the majority in Israel and on the verge of total control.

Several things:
1. There have been suicide bombings outside the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
2. Environmental explanations do not explain why some people choose to be terrorists and other people don’t.
3. Do environmental conditions explain also suicide bombing in the Iraqi context? Arabs killing Arabs? Please, I am really interested to know if you are willing to explain away these acts of terrorism against Arabs the same way you explain away the acts of terrorism against Israeli civilians.
3. You have seen a brainwashing video and still refuse to understand who is to blame. A clue: the guy with the microfone.
4. Terrorism is not new in the region. And during the seventies the PLO of Arafat (who never suffered the “environmental conditions” was blewing up planes and people around the world.

It is not the job of Israelis to build Palestine. The Palestinians had Palestine in 48′. They and other Arab countries attacked Israel in 48, 56, 67, 73 and on and on and on. When you lose a war you sometimes lose land. Arafat had a chance to have a Country again, but it wasn’t good enough for him. All his demands were not met. Well when you declare war and keep on losing, you are not the ones who should be making demands. If the Palestinians wanted a just peace, just fot both peoples, they had many opportunities to do so. Instead they elect murderes to govern them and teach their children to hate. The Israelis don’t need to give them and state and then wait to see what happens. They know what will happen. They have been there before, stupid. They will do what is good for Israel just like every other Country!

Actually, the UN created both Israel AND Palestine. On British territory.
The one and only time a Palestinian State has ever existed. Until the Arabs told the Palestinians to leave, and promised that they could return after Arab armies destoyed Israel. That wasn’t the outcome, though, and I think Israel was quite justified in not allowing the Palestinins who had abondoned their homes with the intention of returning to them by walking over Israeli corpses to return at all. Would you?
As for captured Syrian, Jordanian and Egyptian land… the war is still ongoing. It’s unreasonable to expect Israel to surrender land it has occupied as part of a war effort, while the war is still going on. Have you ever heard of that before? I haven’t. The first step in a land settlement has to be a peace settlement. And that’s the point that Arabs have been stuck on the last 50 years. It’s a flat out unreasonable position, and most of those UN resolutions are unjustified, under the international laws of war - which are ALSO part of the UN adopted set of international laws. Occupying the land of an enemy is not illegal.

Do you actually believe ISRAEL has a policy of MURDERING little children? Even in this piece of propaganda, they do not dispute the points made by readers of this blog. The author simply says more Palestinian innocents have been killed than Israeli. And to too many Palestinians and Islamists, that’s actually a perverse victory in their big picture.

Paul Harrison: Dude, I understand your anger, lord knows I feel plenty of it myself. But let’s stay within the realms of rational discourse. There’s no way we (the U.S.) are going to nuke a country that hasn’t nuked us first. And the “fear” that we might nuke people on a whim is the rationale that these psycho states like Iran and North Korea use to justify their nuclear ambitions.
In reality, if we were ever going to use nuclear weapons unilaterally (now that the cold war is over) it woudl have been Tora Bora when we knew OBL was there. And it wasn’t even considered.
So, while I appreciate your passion on the issue of Jihadi extremists and terrorist states — talking about “dropping the big one” is actually damaging to us and helpful to our enemies.

I have just read Craig’s last comments and he put everything pretty succinctly. I would like to add that I too am not Israeli nor Jewish. As a matter of fact, I don’t even know any Israelis and currently, not even a single Jew. I do however, have Arab Muslim friends; one from Gaza. You make the argument that we would all just continue to believe what we always have and not look at the other side of the conflict. Well, I received all my education on this subject from Arabs and I watched Al Jazeera and read Arabic newspapers and only heard their arguments on the Arab-Israeli conflict. I even used to think a bit like you. I DID look at the other side of this. I hope you can too.

My parents are christians, and it’s about all I can stand to hear their “The Muslims are eveil” crap all the time. Yet they were having a good old laugh about the Iran earthquake a few years ago that killed tens of thousands. Until that generation grows old and passes the torch, there will never be peace in this world.
Don’t get me wrong here, I’m a Conservative Republican, but I hate the fact that they use peoples fear of abortion and gay rights to rule over them. I only voted for Bush because I thoght Kerry was a lying A**hole and a wus! In a war you don’t need a whiny little cuss doing whatever the majority wants, even if it’s the wrong thing. You’ve got to respect a man who finishes what he starts even under dwindling public support. That takes some brass balls!
I thinks what needs to be done is make Jeruselam a “city with no country”, kind of like Washington DC is a city with no state. But, one of the groups would probobly try to take it by force, and boom, someone would use nukes, be it Israel or Iran or some dips**t terrorist group.

eee, do not lose hope in peace. If the Palestinians demonstrate that they want peace, I truely believe they will get it. I truely hope so. But this circle of revenge will not get us anywhere. I’m against what Israel is doing and all the inhumanity that is involved. You also should acknowledge that there is a growing criticism of Israel at least in Europe and probably everywhere save the states. Force will not help Palestinians against a hundred-fold stronger adversary. I just wish people can live together instead of fight eachother….it’s been too long and too draining. People are the same around the world and they don’t change through history. One group or the other will always try and conquer those around them as far as it is rational to project their power. Yes the US is the most powerful people these days but compared to the military force of old England or that of Hitler or Ghengis Kahn we are sweet hearts. If we were a true imperialistic power as has been put forth here and as all the losers of this planet accuse us … we would never have allowed the Arabs to nationalize the oil industries we gave them.

It’s depressing…. for a child to want to be a shahid. Children should have more of a future than that to look forward to.
For all of us, our time here on Earth is limited, so we should use what time we have wisely, and enjoy life to the fullest. There is plenty of time for the afterlife later.
