Merry Go round

Hezbollah might have hit an egyptian ship. They will probably call them martyrs.

Lina is now mad at the whole world. I am not sure I follow her logic at not being mad at Nasrallah anymore, but it's a good read nonetheless.

I have been trying to read this article, and now the athiest Jew has it up: Dear arabs, the war with Israel is OVER!

Jordan and Egypt both point a finger at Hezbollah, following Saudi's example. Interesting….

Israel continues to hit Bridges, and now Gas stations??? Running out of Targets, are we? Here is a hint: Stop bombing Lebanon and do "redecorate" some of Bashar's palaces. Please.

The Arabian Knight notes that the Syrian ambassador's Blitzer Interview re-defines the concept of Chutzpah.

And last, but not least, the Lebanese Blogger Forum has a few definitions they would like to share with you. Here are my top picks:

 Tribal Mentality:
So, you
cross into a sovereign nation, kill some of their soldiers and kidnap
others. Of course you're justified, they're soldiers. That's what
they're there for.
What, the nation wants retribution?
Murderers! Imperialists! Zionists! Leave me alone, I don't want to play
anymore. Wait, how about I trade you my soldiers for yours? That's
fair? No? Maaaaaaaa! The big bad zionist doesn't want to let me play…
Maaaaaa!

Retribution:
So,
you want your soldiers back? Why? They're cowards? Aren't they? I
mean… no, they're not cowards. They're willing to die. Right? No?
Jihaaaad! (oops, sorry), no let's talk. This is a fun game, I sneak in
and hurt you every once in a while, then you say ok let's negotiate.
No? You want to hurt me back? You're invading? Maaaaaa! Invador!!!!
You're not allowed…. I am, of course… I'm still a baby.

Sense:
Syria? Oh, they have
prisoners as well? No. We can't fight Syria. They're not dirty jews.
They're muslims. That's haram. The Lebanese prisoners there? Oh, it's
not important, they're christians.

Politics:
You
can't criticize me, I'm a religious figure. Kaboom. We are fighters, we
are politicians. What? Don't criticize me, I'm a religious figure. If
you express an opinion different from mine, you're a traitor zionist
dog.
What? Shush, I'm a religious figure. I will cut your arms and
gouge your eyes. Because I'm a religious figure. I'm a religious
figure, yes i'm the real religious figure. What? Eminem? Shut up, I'm a
religious figure. whatever.

Analysis:
Let's
be blind-sighted, selective and subjective for a minute here. What's
wrong with you people? So we invaded israel first and kidnapped
soldiers. That's history. Let's forget about that and start analysing
WHY they're fighting back.
Come on, let's say that we didn't kidnap
anyone. Ok? Israel might have still attacked for some other reason.
It's possible? Can you deny it completely? No. See!? Haha, I win!
Maaaaa… I won! Let's assume that we didn't do anything, and that they
attacked for no reason. It's more fun to come up excuses and crazy
theories than to be evolved creatures for a minute.

So true!

You are right, Sandmonkey. Baby Assad should be taken out. Then Ahmadinejad. Or maybe the other way around. Or simultaneously. No more farting around.

  2. Blue Crab Boulevard » Blog Archive » Arab Reactions To Hezbollah Actions Says:

[...] Rantings Of A Sandmonkey has a fascinating roundup of some reaction from Lebanon over the actions Hezbollah has taken. It's not at all supportive. Public opinion seems to be highly critical of the kidnappings and the subsequent Wailing and gnashing of teeth from Hezbollah about the "humanitarian crisis".  Tribal Mentality: So, you cross into a sovereign nation, kill some of their soldiers and kidnap others. SM,

The tracks lead to Iran not Syria. Israel has to stay focused on Hezbollah. Iran is next in line.

  4. Dan Says:

IDF is not running out of targets; this is still Act II.

First they cut off the major transport in and out of the country–the airport, the harbor, and major highways. No weapons get in, and equally important, no ONE gets out. Then they rendered hezbollah command in Beirut impotent by destroying HQ. They also took out communication links so Nararallah can’t even communicate in real time. Now they’re cutting off escape routes in the south–and taking out gas stations too. This has just been the prelude.

Act III will be the total annihilation of Hezbollah in the south. No escape, no prisoners. Wait for it.

I have racked my brain thinking, “if you want to pick a fight, why not Syria” and I just cant find the answer.

  6. Egyptian American Says:

Israel is doing a favor to the whole world, not only Lebanon, by taking out Hizbollah. We need to live in peace with Israel and start a new era of progress, democracy and prosperity.

The most sensible things I have read today are coming from the Arabs on this site. One look at the BBC and I nearly spewed my breakfast.

I second that! The western medias are incredibly lacking in depth in regards to this crisis!!!

  9. Papa Ray Says:

Doha, the Lebanese Blogger has reported more attacks, I hope they are not all true, especially about the Lebanese Soldiers.

If I were in that area, if I couldn’t leave, I would be filling my hideout with food, water and other supplies. This looks like Israel is going for broke.

I haven’t heard this news. But even if it`s true, so What??

like half of american gunships brought down in Afghanistan and Iraq, were destroyed by *friendly fires*, at least that what the USA claims.
