  3. Mansour El Sa3eedy Says:

I never liked Ramadan and I never understood the point of of it? You see, I am a Muslim, but I do not pray and I refuse to do the Haj (partly because it is in Saudi Arabia) and certainly nobody tells me when to eat, drink or fuck . Excuse my language, I mean make love.

    Happy Ramadan anyway.

And “Death to America!” to you, likewise. ;-)

No, it’s “How could you do this to me”, or “Death to America”. Then the baby arrives and all is forgiven!

  7. Puniqe Says:

    “Al-mawt lil Amreeka!!” :)

  8. CEP Says:

Have a good time in the non-fasting hours! :-)

  9. Grantman Says:

Um, would “shanah tova” be appropriate also?

Truly, may you be inscribed for a good year. You’ve had a helluval good year in 5766, why not 5767, too?

Keep up the good, no, GREAT work, SM. You’re tops. (I don’t really care what BP says…) ;-)

  10. Troy Z Says:

Absolutely, have a happy Ramadan, SaM, but I do wonder about what the credibility of blessings should have when a heretic like me makes them.

But as long as we have an opportunity to wish people a happy anything in this jacked-up world, I’m down with that. So, may the ones you love and cherish have a healthy, happy and prosperous time to follow. That is certainly sincere.

  11. Craig Says:

LOL! Happy Ramadan to you too :)

  13. Adam B. Says:

What happened to the problem of fasting in arctic regions?

If ramadan falls in the summer, the sun never sets, meaning a whole month without food. If it falls in the winter, the sun never rises, meaning you can eat all the time…

How come Allah didn’t take this into account? ;)

  14. clear Says:

  15. i luv egypt Says:

  17. K from Oslo Says:

i luv egypt; OY, I heard you.
apparently the times for fasting are set according to the closest muslim country, which for Europe would be Turkey. Happy Ramadan and peace to you too:)

  18. dan Says:

I don’t know if it means anything, but since the Jewish New Year and Ramadan both began on the exact same day, Happy New Year and Ramadan to all. May be there is a message in there somewhere.

    Best regards.
