    The problem with this is that it is hard to cover. Al Haq? You mean they are Shia who are probably aligned to Iran? Suddenly, and I would have thought this was impossible in the Gulf, I feel all warm and fuzzy towards the existing regime. A journalist would need far more experience than most to work out what the Hell these people really mean when they say “peace and democracy”. Nowadays journalists only get three years in a hardship post like the Gulf, they are unlikely to have the competence to judge. What do you do when everyone lies and uses Western political terminology to cover what is probably a sectarian and tribal reality?
