    Women Should Know Their Limits

Before women begin sending me hate emails, please note that this is categorized under “humor.”

  5. Bec Says:

“Satire” to be precise. I thought it was hilarious! Peachy brought it to Sandmonkey’s last post on this topic. I don’t know a woman who doesn’t identify with this to some extent. The fact that we can laugh at it now shows we’ve come a long ways, baby. :) I’ve showed it to my two college sons and they looked a bit baffled. It was way before their time, ya know?

  6. Nomad Says:

men should listen more to women :

    Nomad,

I don’t understand French. What did your YouTube video say?

  8. Nomad Says:

the girl wanted to give notice there is a surprise on the road and shout “pig”

the man thinks she said that to him and replied “dirty bitch”

it’s an avertising for a tv program devoted to men

  9. Bec Says:

Wonder what the man would have said if it had been a man shouting, “Pig!” :)

  10. Nomad Says:

that would have ment the TV program wad devoted to gays !

  11. diana Says:

  12. shamshooma=egyptchick7 Says:

I’m assuming the sketch ridicules 1950’s and so England. Well yeesterday, I met a girl who went to egypt for the first time and for only 5 days, when she was 17. All she could tel me was when she spoke to couples that the man did all the talking and the woman was silent the whole time. Ugh what a sad impression she got of egypt, but it is true.

  13. K from Oslo Says:

Wow Sam, have you not been exposed to Harry Enfield or the Fast Show before? You poor deprived soul.
    And Nomad, Ha, ha, ha:)

  14. tedders Says:

Does Sheik Jassam Al-Mutamami (or what ever his name is) from “The difference between men and women” have the keen sense of satire that Harry Enfield and his entourage have?

One would hope so, but I’m still not so sure the Sheik was looking for a laugh as much as control.

  15. BrooklynJon Says:

    shamshooma=egyptchick7,

You don’t have to go to Egypt to see that. How about the Bangladeshi community here in NYC? That whole following behind theman thing freaks me out!

  16. shamshooma=egyptchick7 Says:

I live in bk bk jon and have yet to see that. Actually come to think of it, i have seen it amongst pakis, if thats to who you are referring.

  17. Sarah Says:

  19. Bec Says:

That was funny, nomad. Boy, that looked like something from back in the seventies. I believe that fits into the Dumb Blonde category. :) (Dark-haired women are considered smarter for some reason)

  20. Nomad Says:

Bec I supposed her being an actress

    the men think ?

  22. BrooklynJon Says:

    shamshooma=egyptchick7,

I see it all the time. Rarely among Pakis, mainly Bangladeshis, to the best of my knowledge.

  23. egyptchick7 Says:

    BrooklynJon,

How can you distinguish Bengalis and Paki by physical appearances. I am really just wondering. I am soooo well versed in desi culture yet haven’t been able to distinguish the two physically. They are both muslim, do Bengalis wear something different than pakis, meaning shalwarkameez. However I know that Bengalis are the nicest and most humble people I have ever met :)
(Bengalis do seem to be a bit darker, tho)

  24. BrooklynJon Says:

    egyptchick7,

Sorry. I didn’t see your reply.

I differentiate on the basis of their language and what they tell me they are. Also, my Paki and Bangladeshi friends (I have several) can tell the difference. My Eastern European eyes have more difficulty.

Bengalis seem to be very nice, although when ill in the hospital, they can be particularly dramatic and annoying.
