I was just at Al Arabiya news website and they had this fantastic article (arabic) about how Venezuella's arabs (1.5 million of them) were conflicted about Chavez's victory, and as a representitive samplethey asked one palestinian and one Lebanese. The Palestinian was a super Chavez supporter, who said that now he waves the palestinian flag and the venezeullans like chant for him on the street, since Chavez supports palestine. He even mentiones that his wife weras a red veil now as a sign for her support for Chavez (a red veil, try not to laugh). The lebanese dude said he voted for Rosales, because he thinks Chavez's internal policies, but totally supports his foriegn policy because it's anti-US and anti-Israel. What's even funnier is the comment section and the amount of comments expressing Chavez Love and lamenting how there isn't an arab Chavez to Challenge the US like this one does.
In related news, Chavez first act in office after winning is applying a 35% new tax charge on toilet seats! Not kidding. Make your own Chvez-fecal matter joke in the comments section!

I guess they weren’t paying attention when socialism was defined. Soon chavez will, obviously, start attacking minority communities (which he probably already is doing, but this is guaranteed to intensify). I guess they will learn the hard way.
