IMO, that really is beautiful and, very seductive…
What I found interesting was the 2nd video with the older women sitting around watching. What were they saying? Were they offering tips?

I cannot help but notice that this provocative dancing has failed to produce a total breakdown in the social order, wherever it happens to be.

In fact, unable as I am to determine where these videos were taken, I am willing to bet they come from within the top 10% of the economic strata of the Arab world.

Now that coincidence should lead us to a proposition that the entire Middle East should carefully examine: is it possible that the correlation between provocative dancing and economic success is not coincidental, but is actually evidence of a causal relationship?

Oh SM where is the Burka bashing crowd :) Burka wasn’t present in any of the videos. There were no men beating up those girls and it went under the nose of older generation :)

    Ben,

Top 10% of the economic strata? are you serious? Arab women are belly dancers by nature it has nothing to do what economic class you come from.

I can’t stop laughing at how serious you are posting about Belly dancing hehehehe.

No. Bonk them. Not stone them. As a man I could take advantage of any number of women and pretty much walk away unscathed. My soul would be scarred and I would have to answer to God for abusing other men’s daughters but in this life it would not cost me much.

But the women! The poor girls. What do you think a woman thinks of herself that reaches thirty and looks back at perhaps dozens of men she has bedded? And does any man want her? No. Perhaps she is a ‘liberated’ woman with a career and she does not care about familly and all that. Well that’s fine I guess. She shall go to her grave alone most probably with no one to mourne her. No grandchildren to even care.

If that is the life you want girls then by all means. Eat. Drink. Be merry. For tomorrow you die.

“I thought that is what is called freedom? Have you heard of it?”

Really people, girls have evey right to live their lives and grow up as they mature emotionally and physically just like boys.

Scott, you sound like someone even a grandmother would be embarressed of. Have you ever been in love beyond the physical stage? Apparently not from the slant of your postings. My lovely wife is 44 now and more beautiful every single day I’m blessed to be with her. My prediction is that Scott will wake up one day to find no w man wants him. I find if amusing that Westerners react like second generation North African immigrants to Europe who can not say “Swedish girl” without accidentally saying “Swedish whore”. Any chick who dances or shakes her stuff is a slut but none of the football jocks (jokes?) out there are trying to impress chicks? If seeing a female being sensual is so offensive to you why do you not consider killing yourself so that the rest of us can go on living a normal life without you?

And BTW, after seeing these videos, if there is a clash of civilizations I would officially like to surrender.

If I may, I’d like to agree, sort of, with one – AND ONLY ONE – thng that Scott said. And that is “You have about ten years during which you are truly attractive. ” But it’s mot quite the way Scott means it.

I find that as I get older, the women who I find attractive are the ones in the 10 year span around my age. Say, from 7 years younger than me, to 3 years older than me. 20 year olds, while they have impressive, gravity-defying physical features, are usually too shallow and unsophisticated to attract me. I don’t mean to knock anyone here who’s 20. I’ve been 20. That’s cool, but just as we 39 year-olds don’t attract you, you all don’t attract us.

Heather, I thought Scott was being facetious, too. Go know!

Actually experience of grown up people suggests that this not the case. There are any number of groupies even that have gone on to happy and long lives despite hundreds of men. I admit that porn stars seems to have a lot of problems, but then they probably had problems before they became porn stars. Look at Uschi Obermaier.

Young boys often have a problem with their girl friends kissing other boys because they lack confidence, experience and are insecure. They think that their girl will leave them given half a chance. Now Muslim boys, especially those from the Middle East, have a much worse problem – they think if their girls even look at another boy, she’ll be off. With good reason I expect in many cases.

When boys grow up to be men, they have more sense of themselves and more confidence. They are less likely to get stressed if their partner has slept with other men in the past. They may not like it if the numbers are high, but it is no big deal. What matters is what is in her heart and how strong the relationship is now. Does it bother me that my last girl friend always talked positive about her last boyfriend? Not really. Did it bother me that she often compared me in various ways (including, you know, the *bad* ones) unfavorably with him? Well yes but only up to a point. She was and is beautiful and I was lucky to be with her. I miss her still. Think I’ll give her a call and see how she is doing. Not that she’d take me back but I can hope.

Scott Says:”If that is the life you want girls then by all means. Eat. Drink. Be merry. For tomorrow you die.”

Indeed. And perhaps there is no life but this one.

I think they should make belly dancing an olympic sport. Then this part of the world would take medals hands down–but the rest of the world would get a great workout and it would be something beautiful FROM YOUR REGION that the rest of the world (at least us gals) could learn and enjoy — from the best gals who can do this on the planet in the ME. Now, as for the interesting comments about girls and women… I observed the women in the 2nd video and wondered why they weren’t up with their daughter/neice/whomever dancing too? Has the urge to feel free and wonderful left them? I wish they would dance too! That’s kind of sad as I would like to see some earlier generation moves at the dancing level from them. Dance …whatever you wish to say … Dance is something we can cling to, cross borders with, enjoy infinite variety with…and it makes us ALL laugh and it’s great for our hearts. When we quit dancing, we start dying.

Oh BTW, Scott. Sounds like you have been emotionally hurt or something by a woman. It isn’t news that “children” fulfill a woman any longer. We can have all the kids we wish (don’t even need men today with AI) BUT if a gal does not nurture those kids or if she had a bunch hoping to be fulfilled or please her man (ref: Andrea Yates), it degrades to lethal. And, with advances in nutirtion, exercise (dance being a great exercise!), and cosmetic surgery, …, uh, …how do they say it? 40′s the new 30. 50′s the new 40, etc. The market for Viagra wouldn’t be so huge if older guys weren’t getting it on…and not just with young gals. They’re pleasing their older gals my man. A young or older woman who feels good, is fulfilled financially (whether on her own or spousal), believes in God, etc. – that’s going to be a woman a man wants to be with because she glows. Unless that man is co-dependent, abusive, mysogynistic, etc. That man will attract damaged goods. So take care and love yourself and grow. And don’t call girls whores…a woman’s gotta eat and some men gotta pay for it? Capiche? We can hopefully improve political relations but none of us is gonna change how the world has worked for centuries, eh? Dance like no one’s watching!

OK. You all win. There is no such thing as chastitiy. Prudent behaviour is stupid. Modesty is for fools. There is absolutely no value in a woman being pure. In fact lets throw out all the other virtues while we are at it. Who needs courage? Old hat. Outdated thinking. Honesty? Whatever for? Just do, say and believe whatever works for you.

What a wonderful world you all will create. Glad I won’t be around to live in it.

Surely you shall accomplish the apex of human civilization as you through off all the old thinking. A world with no such thing as holiness or spirituality. Just carnality and lust. Greed and avarice. Making up your rules as you go along. Raising your children to be twice the sons of hell you are. May God have mercy on your lost souls.

are you ET ? the spirituality your refering is kind of brided, it’s only refering to your puritan view of the universe, let’s say not more old as when your ancestry settled in US, while the humanhood is on earth from ages, and had so many beliefs to reassure itself.

you may like it, but your a mammifere animal too ; if you put stiff rules on that being, you’ll get psychological problems in counterpart, and perverses deviances, ; what is the best ? getting in your holly boring paradise, or help the humanity to survive in serenity with the respect of its physiological needs ?

I happen to think there is such a thing as chastity and it is a worthy goal. I think girls in the West are not prudent enough. I can’t get enough modesty. But that does not mean I think the value of woman falls to zero just because her hymen has been broken. I don’t think that a woman is a bank account from which men withdraw every time they, well, withdraw. I think that the most important things about a woman have more to do with what is between her ears than between any other parts of her.

    What is unreasonable about that?

Scott Says:”What a wonderful world you all will create. Glad I won’t be around to live in it.”

And what is the alternative – the world that people like you create where girls suffer honour killings? Where they are stoned for being raped? Where half of all women in the Palestinian territories were beaten by their husbands *last* *year*? Where women are judged solely by what is between their thighs?

Thank you, but what a wonderful disease-ridden, poverty-stricken, illiterate violence-filled Hell hole you all have made for yourself. If it wasn’t for us curing your diseases, feeding your hungry and buying you otherwise worthless oil, you’d live like animals.

Scott Says:”Raising your children to be twice the sons of hell you are. May God have mercy on your lost souls.”

And yet the alternatives are not 1. women are virgins or 2. they are whores. Get over your problems with women and see them as people. Deal with them as individuals. Not stereotypes. You can marry a good little virgin if you like. It is no skin off my nose. But keep your bigotry out of everyone else’s lives. As some brave, and no doubt soon to be martyred, woman once said, you can believe in stones as long as they don’t throw them at me.

Scott, Scott, Scott (shaking head) were you raised in a whore house? What horrible episode happened in your life to make you have these unhealthy perverse obsessions with women and their pasts? Are you married? I’m sure you’re not. Before I had children I would witness friends children misbehave and would let it be known what was being done incorrectly in that childs life and that my children would never, blay, blah, blah……… Well, guess what, I’ve got kids now and all those theories and child parenting tips went right out the window. Idealism and reality are two equally opposing notions. I’m sure you’re not as knowledgable as you believe yourself to be in the realm of human relations and I’m also sure you’ll have plenty of time to gain wisdom and come to the realization that maybe, just maybe there’s more to the picture than meets you’re limited attempt at enforcing your rules for all of mankind/womankind. Personally, I didn’t marry untill my mid thirties. I’m fairly confident that if given the oppurtunity I would not have married a virgin, ecspecially a thirty year old virgin, I don’t want to start another round of discussion but that seems like a horrible situation to put yourself into. Thats just my take on the whole virgin/whore discussion anyway, as if there is no inbetween! LOL. With that said, for some reason, it reminds me of the tour my new bride and I took while visiting Europe on our honeymoon. While the tour bus was gliding us through the Austrian Alps over Salzberg, Austria, our quite young and attractive tour guide told us of a local legend. The highest and inaccesable peak near a beautiful village is where the feared and powerful dragon lived, of course the only food the dragon could eat was pure and untainted virgins. Of course, the tour guide said, no one has seen the dragon for over a thousand years, we believe he starved to death! Cheers to all on this beautiful day!!

Gee for some odd reason I feel like beating my head against a brick wall today so I will continue this discussion.

Every human being knows in their heart what is right and wrong. Every civilization has their version of the Ten Commandments and if you look into it you will see that they are all very very similar. Why? Because humans have been at this thing called civilization a loooooong time. Long enough to have seen it all and come up with ways to weave society together in such a way that it functions.

You all believe you are smarter than thousands of years of civilization and the brilliant men and women who have shone as the stars in every land and every society. You cannot take down the guardrails on a super highway and expect folks won’t run off the road. You advocates of loose sexuality are just fooling yourselves. The human animal is an extremely complex being that has to be nurtured carefully for almost two decades to develop properly. Children need parents who love them and love each other. But now we have a skyrocketing illigitemacy rate and children being raised by their fellow gang members. People don’t stay married. We have ever increasing cases of child abuse and incest/molestation. We have a crime rate that renders huge sections of our cities virtually a no-man’s land.

Look around you young party-people … the world is radically messed up and getting worse. Because you don’t believe in the incontrovertible laws of civilization. Civilization is like a house of cards. Fragile and easily destroyed. Pull out one support and it can all come crashing down. Kinda like we see happening all over the world right now.

I’m not a Taliban. Not even a fundamentalist. But when these sorts look around and see the rampant immorality of young people you can bet it makes them even more bloodthirsty. You hate these people and believe they are mad but you don’t understand them. They know if thier kids start acting like you party-people … soon everything will go to the dogs. Now you are not really willing to kill them for their extreme religious views … but they are very willing to kill you. They even think they are doing god and the world a favor when they blow you up with their homicide bombers. Just another way loose morals and lack of virtue makes the world an ugly place.

I’m not telling you to follow MY rules. I’m just telling you that you need to follow THE rules. You can cheat the system for only so long and then the bill comes due. You think you are so aware and sophisticated. That you are smarter than your parents and grand-parents. Hah! You are actually just the brain-washed robotic consumers of the masters of this Brave New World. You have been programmed to be over-sexed because someone who is always ‘hungry’ has no sales resistence. Just look at your credit card statements. You know what I’m saying.

“You advocates of loose sexuality are just fooling yourselves.”
Never said that, just said don’t label a girl an outcast whore if she gets attention at a bar, jeesh!

” But now we have a skyrocketing illigitemacy rate”
Actually teenage pregnancies have gone down for the last few years in the U.S..

“Children need parents who love them and love each other”
You are spot on on this point. One of the greatest gifts a father can give his children is loving and respecting their mother, his wife.

“You hate these people and believe they are mad but you don’t understand them.”
Where do I start with this ignorant statement, Scott, grow up. If you think a Taliban militant that wants to kill the kuffar has anything to teach me or most of the people reading this blog, you are delusional. If you think we are going to change anything about the way we live, worship or practice what we feel is right to pacify some goat herders in the mountains of Tora Bora your as pathologiacl as they are. If my daughter wears a mini skirt and is seen in public with a man thats not her brother or father, I won’t kill her like your Taliban role model you so ardently admire.

“I’m not telling you to follow MY rules. I’m just telling you that you need to follow THE rules”
Those are your rules Scotty. Not mine, Yours, and they are intolerant, prejudiced, sexist and created so you can control women that you’ll never have a chance of being with and wouldn’t be with you without being forced to.

“You can cheat the system for only so long and then the bill comes due.”
Come any where near the women in my neck of the woods and you’ll be the one paying your own medical bills.

“That you are smarter than your parents and grand-parents”
No, just better at raising well adjusted non abused humans. Society is much better today than for the individual two or three generations ago. If you want to live in the past, go life in the border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Don’t give us your pent up Puritan piousness, we don’t need it. If what you feel about girls reputations is true then it will be a self correcting system. Nobody will want them and without offspring their kind will die off (ROTFLOL). Relax, Don’t judge, lest ye be judged by the same measure.

“You are actually just the brain-washed robotic consumers of the masters of this Brave New World.”
Scotty boy, if your looking for brain washed, go look in the mirror.

” Just look at your credit card statements.”
You’re judging on stereotypes again, not the actions of a wise man, I’ve owned my on company for 21 years, have no CC debt, house paid for, buy my cars and trucks with cash. Can you say the same?

    “You know what I’m saying.”
Yea, you need to grow up and worry about your own pathetic little life instead on railing at the whole world because they don’t listen to you.

I’m not saying go out and be immoral, just don’t be so quick to make moral judgements about people and situations that you know little to nothing about. You obviously think the world is going to hell in a hand basket unless everyone believes as you, that’s an incorrect assumption. Raise your children the way you want, leave everyone elses alone.

I am glad you want to continue to bang your head against this wall, but I do not agree with you. People have to be taught what is right and what is wrong. They do not automatically know it, or at least they do not automatically know it all. A fear of snakes and incest seems to be in-built, but a fear of homosexual behaviour is not. The ten commandments? In every civilisation? The vast majority of civilisations have been pagan and that is Commandment 1 down. That aside, I do sort of, in a watered down sort of way, agree with most of what you say except the extremity with which you hold it. The choices are not as simple as virgin or whore.

Scott Says:”You all believe you are smarter than thousands of years of civilization and the brilliant men and women who have shone as the stars in every land and every society.”

Well I don’t as it happens. Although there are clear areas where we do know better. We send rockets to the Moon.

Scott Says:”But now we have a skyrocketing illigitemacy rate and children being raised by their fellow gang members. People don’t stay married. We have ever increasing cases of child abuse and incest/molestation. We have a crime rate that renders huge sections of our cities virtually a no-man’s land.”

I even agree with that. Entirely. But I still don’t think that means we need to take belly dancers out and stone them.

Scott Says:”You have been programmed to be over-sexed because someone who is always ‘hungry’ has no sales resistence. Just look at your credit card statements. You know what I’m saying.”

I don’t think there is any such thing as being programmed to be oversexed. Most people like sex. They always have. They always will. I don’t see any sign that it is increasing or decreasing.

Which still does not change the fact that a woman who has had a boy friend that she slept with is not some how less than human.

“We have a crime rate that renders huge sections of our cities virtually a no-man’s land.”

Who has this crime rate? Are we talking about America? Or somewhere else? I’m having difficulty following this, but belly dancing women are not making huge sections of any cities I know a virtual no-man’s land.

And I fail to see any connection between a healthy appetite for sex, and credit card receipts. Unless you’re paying for sex, that is. But I doubt you could pay for it with a credit card, no?

I’ve seen women belly dancing who could *easily* make huge sections of some cities no-go areas – belly dancing: pole dancing for Fat Chicks.

As for credit cards, I made that same assumption once and I was corrected. An elderly gentleman present told me that they are aware of wives. You can pay with a credit card and it goes down as something anodyne like “Corporate Entertainment Inc.” so no one knows.

    Scott,

For the most part, I don’t think anyone here has an argument with you about the virtue of chastity. Even those who disagree would have no problem with you if that’s all you were talking about. It’s your double standard that angers people. The ten commandments were given to BOTH men and women. If you think it is only the loose morality of women that is responsible for these ills you write, and men bear no responsiblitiy for their part, YOU ARE WRONG.

I was raised to value chastity. But I was raised to value love and forgiveness and the worth of my fellow man more. My husband and I were both virgins when we married; but I know that if I had been a prostitute, there was no question he would still have married me.

Hoo boy! It’s so hard to discuss difficult subjects with people who are illogical and don’t argue honestly. You keep putting words in my mouth and setting up ‘staw men’ (look it up) to argue with.

    I’ll quote some examples:

tedders says: “You obviously think the world is going to hell in a hand basket unless everyone believes as you,” ….. I think I’ve made it pretty clear it is not MY beliefs I want you to follow. You can follow Budha, Mohammed, Christ, Moses, or Lao Tsu for all I care. You just can’t set youself and your generation up as the new arbiters of morality and virtue. It doesn’t work that way. You will destroy yourselves and maybe the world as well. (see ancient Egypt, Judea, Greece, Rome, USSR, etc etc etc )

Heigou offers this obfuscation: “I do not agree with you. People have to be taught what is right and what is wrong” …. Well DUH. Of course genious! Beside the point and not having to do with anything I was saying. OF COURSE babies must be taught EVERYTHING. How does this possibly relate to my point?

Heigou again: ” there are clear areas where we do know better. We send rockets to the Moon.” … So? We are technologically superior. This makes us wiser just how? Actually I’m glad you brought this up because this is a common arch-typical lie that is part and parcel of our brain-washing. Technology does not make humanity wiser. Not even smarter. If anything it makes us dumber. Tear your cell phone apart and then put it back together so it works. Your car. Explain magnetism to me. What is it? What was here before the Big Bang? Does God Exist? Can there be a result without a cause? Yeah we went to the moon alright. Why didn’t we go back?

Then this by same: “I even agree with that. Entirely. But I still don’t think that means we need to take belly dancers out and stone them.” … You KNOW I didn’t say that or advocate it in any way. The girl wasn’t raised right. It’s a bit too late to do anything about it now. There’s just something not healthy about a girl that wants to dance half naked (or all naked) in public. I spose if she was getting paid for it I could understand (not approve) but this girl was doing it just for the pure joy of exhibitionism. What possible good can come of that? (tell me boys …. you really want to marry a girl who enjoys other men looking at and oggleing her … right)

Heigou …… again: “I don’t think there is any such thing as being programmed to be oversexed. Most people like sex. They always have. They always will. I don’t see any sign that it is increasing or decreasing.” …Then you’re not paying attention. Sex has not been so overemphasized in a society since Sodom and Gomorrah. If you think today’s attitudes regarding sex are normal and healthy you are a complete fool. But then I think we already knew that.

brooklyn john obviously does not follow arguments well. Logic is not a subject he has studdied methinks. Just read it again slowly john. While sober. Maybe you can get the sense of it.

Then finally sheherzad comes up with this glittering jewel of collosal ignorance: … “For the most part, I don’t think anyone here has an argument with you about the virtue of chastity.

When you assume you make and ASS out of U and ME. Ultimately I hold men responsible for all the ills of mankind. Women should be in the kitchen making dinner and nursing babies. That they now foist their emotion laden illogic upon us all and think (and insist we all believe) it is wisdom is OUR (men’s) fault. Ultimately feminism may be the single most detrimental thing to ever befall mankind. It makes life unbearable.

BrooklynJon Says:”Corporate Entertainment indeed. What a country!”

Well technically that was said about another country, but I am sure Americans do the same – where would we have learnt it anyway?

I wonder if you get a range of choices. Presumably not if there is some sort of sales tax or Value Added Tax. The business would have to be registered under that name with a specific licence number. So you couldn’t ask for, say, Salafi Religious Relaxation Services on your bill if you wanted that sort of thing. But I honestly don’t know.

Scott Says:”You can follow Budha, Mohammed, Christ, Moses, or Lao Tsu for all I care. You just can’t set youself and your generation up as the new arbiters of morality and virtue. It doesn’t work that way.”

Well yes it does – unless you’re arguing you can have your Messiah in any color you like as long as He is dead. If I can follow Buddha, Muhammed, Christ, Moses or Laozi for all you care (speaking of strawmen) why can’t I follow myself, HeiGou: Evil Overlord of the Universe? If you are insisting that someone has to be dead to have an opinion that counts, can you please tell me how dead does a Messiah have to be?

Scott Says:”You will destroy yourselves and maybe the world as well. (see ancient Egypt, Judea, Greece, Rome, USSR, etc etc etc )”

States rise. States fall. Following some sort of prescriptive morality doesn’t seem to greatly affect the outcome although I would admit Christianity seems to have done well for Europe.

Scott Says:”Heigou offers this obfuscation: “I do not agree with you. People have to be taught what is right and what is wrong” …. Well DUH. Of course genious! Beside the point and not having to do with anything I was saying. OF COURSE babies must be taught EVERYTHING. How does this possibly relate to my point?”

Your point was that morality was the same across cultures. My mistake. I assumed you were making a smarter argument than you were. OK. If all the great civilisations across time and space follow the same morality, and yet it is not inherent but has to be taught, how do they all arrive at the same opinions? Not that they do of course.

Scott Says:” So? We are technologically superior. This makes us wiser just how?”

Umm, changing your argument is not going to help at this point.

Scott Says:”Technology does not make humanity wiser. Not even smarter. If anything it makes us dumber. Tear your cell phone apart and then put it back together so it works. Your car. Explain magnetism to me. What is it? What was here before the Big Bang? Does God Exist? Can there be a result without a cause? Yeah we went to the moon alright. Why didn’t we go back?”

Actually I think that certain forms of science do make us wiser. Biology and evolution helps us understand our motives as does, to a limited extent, psychology. Knowing ourselves is the first step to wisdom. So what if I cannot put my cell phone together again. Nor could Socrates. Doesn’t make either of us wise. Magnetism is one of the fundamental forces in physics. IT works at a distance and is a relatively strong force. Nothing was here before the Big Bang because there was no time for anything to be in. Time begins with the BB. I have no idea if God exists. Probably not. Of course there can be a result without a cause. There was no reason o go there except to show off. America did that. Why bother?

Scott Says:”You KNOW I didn’t say that or advocate it in any way. (tell me boys …. you really want to marry a girl who enjoys other men looking at and oggleing her … right)”

Actually a lot of guys really do want to marry a girl whom other men like to ogle.

You said something not far from that – and besides, how else are you going to enforce your new rule on no-belly-dancing? Ask nicely? Notice you are still ignoring the second video which was a girl dancing in front of female relatives. What is wrong with that? I can’t see what is not healthy about a girl enjoying dancing in front of other people. Most people like to look good and they like the admiration that brings them. What they don’t like is the undertone of violence that often brings so Middle Eastern women are often intimidated into hiding. But we all do that to some extent. Maybe not as much as that girl. What is the question of good doing there? What good can come of stopping her?

Scott Says:”Sex has not been so overemphasized in a society since Sodom and Gomorrah. If you think today’s attitudes regarding sex are normal and healthy you are a complete fool. But then I think we already knew that.”

But that does not mean people have changed. Just that what we accept in public has changed. I don’t think modern American attitudes are healthy or normal, but I have a more relaxed view than you obviously.

Scott Says:”Women should be in the kitchen making dinner and nursing babies. That they now foist their emotion laden illogic upon us all and think (and insist we all believe) it is wisdom is OUR (men’s) fault. Ultimately feminism may be the single most detrimental thing to ever befall mankind. It makes life unbearable.”

I think I’ll stop feeding the troll now.

This is a litmus test for the guys on this. Imagine having a baby at a USA hospital. You’re flat on your back, your legs spread wide open, and about 15 people (techs, your doctor, doctor assistants, the anesthesiologist, etc.) are looking at and touching your privates. Oh yeah, you’re husband’s at your head cheering you on. And all these guys and gals have masks on (the hospital kind that cover their mouths.) Chastity? Virtue? Squeezing a 7 pound life out of your bottom with an audience of strangers…well…kind of makes the argument for chastity and virtue only something for the uniformed to chit chat about. Go squirt out a baby, or 2, or 3. You will BEG your women, moms, grandmas to dance…out of sheer appreciation for what We go through to keep humanity’s heart a tickin’!

Lets just get one thing clear, If a man marries a woman, any woman, some percentage of society is going to ogle at them. We all marry women who are ogled. Fact of life. I don’t mind it, do you? Naomi,

I have a better scenario for Scott :) you are in Labor with a severe Preeclampsia, blood pressure 230/120 they inject you with magnesium (make you throw up every three seconds and as if you were hit by a truck) and then inject you with Potosin (makes your contractions every three seconds) and the effect of the epidural is wearing off. The bastard obstetric Anesthesiologist (sorry bj) you will have to feel the contractions to push. Baby sunny side up and you have to wait!!!!

If Scott ever felt the pain he will wish to drink Epidural with BJ to get high.

If Scott ever had a back to back pregnancies with the same scenario where he is hospitalized for 20 weeks out of the 38 weeks of pregnancy. He will apologize to every woman he meets.

Even the women who stay home and feed kids and make dinner work so hard but what can I say?. What does he know about women anyway! he was never raised to respect of value women.

I really wish he never marry anyone because he will abuse her emotionally for sure. And if he does I wish God will perform a miracle and he gets pregnant instead :)

    Two,

I know you’re joking. But the truth is that my practice is probably around 20% Arab and/or Muslim. And so far, so good.
If anything, I try just a little bit harder for these patients, because I feel they probably come with some preconceived notions about Jews, and the last thing I want to do is confirm them. I know you yourself don’t have any such preconceived notions, but my Arab and Muslim friends report back to me.

    Shehrezad,

    You make me blush.
You’re right about natural dentistry. I don’t know why, but there’s something about childbirth that makes everybody feel like they have a vested interest. Strangers judge you by how you deliver, where you deliver, when you deliver. But no one really cares about your colonoscopy or your root canal. It’s weird. I chalk it partly up to mysogyny, but I think there’s more to it than that.

Heh BJ — I stand corrected as you wrote. The OBA dude did only touch my back — and it was a touch of LOVIN’ RELIEF when he got the kill-pain going. I asked him to stick around in case I needed a top-off. But everyone else in that room was hanging in my end zone. Also, I heard a somwhat familiar voice (not my doctor’s) from one of the masked aides down there. “Heh! You’re in my gym class!” Like what am I to say, spread eagle 6 inches from her face trying to pop out a baby? I say, “Oh heh. How ya doin’? Is THIS what you do for a living? Uh, can ya make sure it’s repaired like new, better than new, will ya?” The funny part (BJ you’ll like this) is when they say, “lift your legs, push!” After an epidural, YOU CAN”T FEEL YOUR LEGS!!! They could chop them off and you’d still be thinking about ice cream. That’s where the crowd comes in handy: enlist them to lift your legs! In any case, life is hard so let’s dance. Let’s encourage children to dance. Let’s encourage old people to dance. Let’s enjoy and learn from other cultures’ dance. Don’t you wish we could turn all this political unrest into a big dance contest? And the loser wouldn’t really lose but be forced to compromise and settle, with mediation handled by a 3 nation lottery like Iceland, Fiji and Chile. Then we all choose a destination and have a big peace dance and hug and kiss and eat til the cows come home.
