Here is something I want to know

Why is my blog listed as a Baha'i blog? Last time I checked I was listed as both a christian blog and an athiest blog. But Baha'i?

That's a new one!

  1. I didn’t pick up the Baha’i faith from your writings, but then I can’t tell one from the other. I was however, reading on the Native American faith and was surprised at the faith they had in the Great Spririt. Quite amazing!
Red Jacket, a Seneca , in 1805. When speaking to the chiefs of 6 Indian Nations and Mr. Cram, a Minister, said

“Friends and Brothers: It was the will of the Great Spirit that we should meet together this day. He orders all things and has given us a fine day for our council. He has taken his garment from before the sun and caused it to shine with brightness upon us. Our eyes are opened that we see clearly; our ears are unstopped that we have been able to hear distinctly the words you have spoken. For all these favors we thank the Great Spirit , and Him only.”

Actually, this whole speech was given in response to a a proposal from Mr. Cram, a missionary, who wanted to spread the our word of God to the Indian population. Ours was the correct way to the Great Spirit not theirs.
the speech throughout speaks to what the Great Spirit has given the native population and how it speaks to the Indinas (red men), but not to the Whites and the White brothers have a book. They have no book and if the great spirit had wanted them to have the white mans Great Spirit their forefathers would have received a book. He went on to say the White Brothers are always arguing over their religion. The red men never do. In the same speech he chastized them for taking all the Indians land and where there were a few whites now there were many. They hire Indians to kill Indians murdering thousands and much more. Near the end of the speech he states.
“Brother, we do not wish to destroy your religion or take it from you. We only want to enjoy our own.”

Sounds like poetic justice doesn’t it. Seems like today others are saying the same thing about their religion????

  2. Brandon S Allbry KF8NH says:

I suspect someone just scanned blogs looking for mention of Baha’i: I seem to recall your mentioning persecution of Baha’i within the past few months.

  3. Don’t you just love diversity?

  4. You mentioned the Baha’i Faith here once or twice…
    :-)

  5. Yeah I think it was the Baha’i persecution post… see? Just pigeon-hole you to death, lol.

  6. I get that you defend the Christians sometimes but who would mistake you for one?

  7. And why are you #1 on the bahai list? Why, for that matter, are there 50 #1s, 20#2s, then a scattering down to #92?

Are the bahais practicing some obscure form of numerology? Do they have a different form of counting? Why, oh why, are they not like us?

  8. The essence of all religions is one. Only their approaches are different.

  9. We scanned the internet for blogs that were linked from blogs that we knew were from Baha’is and added them if they contained the word Baha’i and/or a link to http://www.bahai.org. That particular list just counted how many times technorati had your blog linked from one of the blogs we scan using Technorati’s API. So if you have a one next to you that means you were linked once, and so on. We used that list as a base list but have since also started asking people to register their blogs. I’m sorry for the confusion. Our efforts will continue in this direction: http://www.bahainine.com.
