The Egyptian government wants to watch you

The Egyptian government wants to create a new ID card- called the "Contact-less card" -for its citizens- that's you and me, Bub- to complement the other 6 forms of ID we have (Personal ID, driver's license, Voting Card, Passport, Military service ID card and Family ID card- the last one to keep track of your wives and children. Nope, not kidding!), because u know, 6 is not enough. The new card is going to have the citizen's full financial information and bank dealings, criminal record, health record, and all dealings with the government. The new ID is suppsoed to provide a "leap in civic service".

Ok, all togetehr now in 3. 1,2, 3: FUCK THAT SHIT! Not doing it. Not gonna happen. The government has no business knowing my bank dealings, my health or what I go to the different governmental agencies for. Isn;t it bad enough they list you marital status, job and religion on your ID card?

Nope. Not Playing. Let them arrest me, but I ain't doing it!

Reminds me of a story I recently heard. In the Netherlands its not allowed to put someone’s religion or etnicity on ID-cards. A friend of mine (Jewish), however, was living in a strict protestant community (because of his wife who’s from there). They are the salafists among the christians in their way of living and believing, but extremely fond of the Jews. So, not because he was despised, but because they loved him, they wrote in huge letters “JEWISH” on his ID. He also got his passport for free because of that. THey said that they would pay for it. Then they moved to another municipality and showed him the ID-papers stating in capital letters he was Jewish. The person behind the desk got upset. He could not believe that the other municipality had done such a thing. It was forbidden en should not be done, he insisted. My friend said to him: don’t worry, they did it because they loved me for being a Jew. He said: doesn’t matter, this should not be done and he made the word Jewish unreadable on the paper.

Hilarious…lmao..no joke…isn’t there a segment of the population that isn’t even registered…p. soon they will suggest ankle bracelets…yeah i saw those i.d. cards..why is marital status on there…and even religion…v. strange…btw…i’ve been in an Egyptian government office…where u have 2 get inheritance notices…ab-freaking-lutely nuts…never seen anything like it 2 this day…2 apartments in a high rise that serve as a government office…and utter chaos…and these massive ledger books…they should work on providing better and more efficient service to their citizens b4 they take on new projects like ultra deluxe i.d. cards which serve as tracking devices..

That is really invasive of people privacy,I can’t believe that any country could consider doing that and how much will these new cards cost to implement ,there must be more important things the government could spend their money on.

People have been implanting rice sized radio ID chips in their pets – and now it’s turning out that these are causing irritation that sometimes turns into cancerous tumors, even deadly ones.

I wonder if any government will ignore the cancer problem and start implanting these in their citizens.
