But the fact remains that the Obamaniacs like to point out how exciting it is to be able to elect a black man to the Presidency - y’know it’s historic, etc. But if part of the reason some of his supporters are supporting him is that he’s black, why is it racist to point this out? If Obama wants to have a campaign in which race is ignored, then I give him a world of credit. But in that case, it has to be ignored by him and his supporters also.

The Barack Obama Campaign has been training its volunteers to say something different from what Barack Obama’s speeches say. I know this because I live among them, not because I got it off the web. This is not an accident, it is a strategic choice that spans a number of issues important to voters.
Another thing the Barack Obama Campaign likes to do is take the most extreme silliness that originates with the far-out right wing of the Republican party, copy it, and attribute it to the Clinton campaign. Then Barack Obama tries to tie it to Hillary herself.
You might not recognize the references in the email, but it has easily identifiable evangelical christian references that are nothing new, and have nothing to do with the Clinton campaign. Hillary Clinton is a liberal Democrat. She doesn’t do Revelation, and neither do her supporters. Obama’s supporters include evangelical christians. Obama’s Campaign has been known to do pre-emptive strikes before. This is particularly noticeable because the Obama Campaign has selected something that speaks to its own supporters, not to Hillary Clinton’s.
It’s dirty politics Tom Daschle style, probably because Tom Daschle’s former staff is so prominent in the campaign.

Since you’ve never seen or heard Glenn Beck, he’s on 450 radio stations, Monday through Friday, 9am to noon, eastern. He also does a one hour television show from 7pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday on Headline News. You’ll then find one less person to hate, but, it’s a start.

christina…at least Obama released his earmarks, something McCain and Clinton have refused to do. Every politician earmarks are going to be somewhat controversial, none of Obama’s earmarks are particularly shady actually.
The University of Chicago hospital system is a pretty big organization that has received federal earmarks long before obama became Illinois senator.
Why haven’t Hillary or McCain revealed their tax returns? Why hasn’t Clinton disclosed the full list of donors to her husband’s library? Obama has been totally honest and transparent this entire campaign, the other candidates must have a reason for hiding something.

On a separate but related topic: Last night I watched Barack Obama deny that he’d ever heard his pastor give any of those venomous speeches that are circulating on the ‘Net. This morning, I find that somebody (Rich Lowry) had bothered to read his book recognized some of the quotes, and posted them.
Barack Obama, in his book, “Dreams of My Father” wrote about pastor Wright’s sermons, and included quotes that are recognizable in the clips. The post is from National Review Online, most definitely NOT part of the Clinton campaign.
The Obama Campaign keeps accusing Hillary Clinton or her campaign of attacking Barack Obama, when they know very well that the rough stuff has an entirely different origin. They do this because they do not want to answer her real point, about “change you can Xerox.” First, they tried to mischaracterize that point as being about plagiarism, when it really is about being so inexperienced that he hasn’t arrived at any position, and is just borrowing his policy positions without any critical thought.

It’s amazing that gullible people like you would mischaracterize and distort what actually happened with this story. Did you even watched Glenn Beck the other night when he did a story on this “controversy” or did you just get your talking points from Keith Olbermann who got his talking points from Media Matters, who in a feedback loop got their talking points from Keith Olbermann?
Here is what happened:
Glenn Beck received emails from people warning him that Obama was the anti-christ. He laughed and scoffed at those people’s claim, and he also jokingly laughed as he asked John Hagee about Obama being the anti-christ, but the all wise Olbermann edited that video clip to give the impression that Beck was being serious. A while back, Glenn Beck said this:
“But everybody on both sides have either deified their candidates and made it absolutely right on everything and it’s that way or it’s nothing, or they’ve taken the other side and they’ve looked at the other candidate and said they must be the antichrist. “Oh, George Bush is the most evil guy ever to be in the presidency.” And now people are doing exactly what they did to Bill Clinton. I mean, I’m getting the mail that, you know, Barack Obama is the antichrist. Come on.
When we strike the reasonable balance and say, okay, I can completely disagree with this guy’s policies but you know what, this part over here is pretty decent or this part over here, we may actually have a chance to be able to make some real progress.”
When Hagee was on his show a few days later, he jokingly asks what he characterized as “a light hearted question belittling those who believe every new politician on the scene that doesn’t agree with them is the antichrist.” Beck was making fun of those religious nuts, if that wasn’t obvious to you.
But, just as Beck predicted two weeks prior to that, people like Olbermann and you would distort what actually happened and accuse him of something he does not believe in.
Rather than examine all the available evidence and think critically, you’d rather allow others to tell you what to think because you assume the worst in people.

It took me about three minutes to google the full story. It’s all there on Beck’s website, fully documented from the beginning. To say what you say when faced with insurmountable written and video evidence shows how dishonest people like you and Twosret are. Your argument has no leg to stand on and clear thinking people without any preconceived prejudice or bias will see through that. Like I said, it’s not rocket science.

I rarely ever call anyone a racist, but when you malign someone as racist, you should back it up with hard facts. It’s so easy to go online and smear a public figure while hiding behind your computer since you’re not accountable to anyone. It’s a common tactic used by intellectually lazy people who avoid the facts and rather embrace their preconceived notions.
And there’s no gang attitude against Twosret; it’s just me. I have nothing personal against her, but when she maligns others I have a right to challenge her on it. You could log onto http://www.thebigtalker1210.com at 9am, eastern and listen live for yourself. That’s the Philadelphia station. You could watch his daily television show which is on Headline News at 7 and 9pm, eastern. You see, I’m retired and have the luxury of being able to listen four days a week and see the show most everyday. I don’t see any of what you’re saying. I don’t know where you’re getting your information.
